Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Maryland
My male supervisor, who is married and is the COO of the company, is having a fling with young female worker. It makes for a very uncomfortable and hostile work environment. Is this grounds for a lawsuit? She does very little work and others have to take up the slack.
Normally, I'd just get on with finding another job, but in the economy, that's not such an easy task.

You didn't state that you have to pick up the slack or that she received a promotion over you. I direct you to the EEOC website (www.EEOC.gov). Read the provisions regarding this fact pattern. If you believe you are covered and have a claim, contact the EEOC to file a charge.
