2nd offence dui
my boyfriend has 2 dui in the last 6 years the last one was in 2004. What is he facing if he faces it at all. He has been avoiding this and I can't live this way anymore.
This happened in MD and we are living in NJ.

The maximum penalty if both receceved in MD and being prosecuted as a subsequent offender is 2 years jail and $2,000.00.
It depends greatly on what County the offense occured. In Montgomery County often a second time offender, if found guilty, will be sentenced to a week-end or 5 days in jail.
