Legal Question in DUI Law in Maryland

DUI Record Information

When does the violation actually come off the record? In maryland, it supposedly takes three years to come off your record, so does it come off three years from the date of the actual event, or three years from when I was found guilty?

The points from a DUI conviction will be removed after 3 years, but the conviction will never be removed.
