If you are on a PBJ for the prior offense then the second offense may ultimately cause the first offense to go to conviction. A second conviction may result in jail and this is independent of the first offense. Nonetheless your case requires representation. Please contact me to discuss your case.

The maximum penalty for a second DWI conviction in MD is 2 years in jail and $2,000.00 fine.

If charged as a subsequent offender, the penalty for a 21-902 a violation is 2 years, if for a 21-902 b violation it will be 1 year.
