Legal Question in DUI Law in Maryland

Police refused to tell my son the results of his PBT

My son is over 21, lives in MD was at his friends house in PA. He had nothing to drink but the police made him take a breathalyazer test and refused to show him the results. All they said was he was drinking. Doesn't it violate his rights not to show him what he blew after the test? They also did the same thing with his other friends. They were under 21 but one even had his parents there and they refused to show him what he blew. They just took all of their information and said they would mail everyone their citations in the mail. Shouldn't they have issued the citiation then and there? They could put any number down on the citation and since they refused to show the results of anyone, what defense does one have?

There are too many defenses to this fact pattern to name in this message, but suffice it to say that what this officer did is very problematic. You need to contact a lawyer who practices in PA to get the details - please post this question in the PA section.
