Is possession of alcohol by a minor illegal?
I am a 19 yo female and was given a citation for possession of alcohol even though I was not drinking and none of the containers were open. I was walking with it on the street. It was a case of beer that I was transporting to a party. Did I break the law?

If you received a citation for transporting beer, then the officer believes you broke the law. Contact a juvenile lawyer, like myself, to review the citation, who can adivse you on the best defense.
