For Power of Attorney's issued in Maryland, is it required to get the document notarized as well as gather two witness signatures or is it one or the other? (i.e. Either you need two witness or either you need to have the document notarized but not both)
thanks

Since 2010, a power of attorney must be notarized AND have two witnesses. The notary may be one of the two witnesses, so it really requires a notary plus one additional witness so long as the notary signs in both spots.
I hope that this helps!
