Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Maryland
I live in Northern Va, my business is LLC in Northern Va, however I sent a contract for childrens entertainment to a client in Maryland that clearly states a non refundable deposit is due. The client, who lives in Maryland, canceled the contract and wants her deposit back. She, the client, contacted an attorney and he said even though I have it stated in my contract that I must refund the deposit. Is this true? Thank You

It depends purely on the language of the contract. If you would like a Maryland business law attorney to review the contract and tell you whether it's enforceable in a Maryland Court, please feel free to contact me.
