Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My 15 year old daughter got in trouble, was place on probation, did not comply with the court order and ultimately got sent away to a juvenile facility. Today I got served with a child support summons from my daughter. I just want to know how this is possible when she chose to break the law not comply with the law and got locked up?

Because your 15 year old daughter is a minor and you are RESPONSIBLE for her. It is just as much, if not more, your fault she got in trouble as it is hers. Why should the rest of the tax payers have to pay for your mistake or her mistake?
