Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Can an 18 year old person sue non-custodial father for college costs?

My parents' divorce decree (made when I was only 2 years old) only requires my non-custodial father to pay what comes to 1/10 of my college costs. My mother regrets it now but the courts won't change it. Can I, being 18 and "emancipated", sue my father myself for my college costs? Can I sue him for abandonment? Can I sue him for alienation of affection? Can I sue him for anything to get some money from him myself?

Except in special circumstances, such as a handicapped child, a parent has no duty to support his/her child after emancipation. There is no cause of action for alienation of affection. I'm afraid you're beating a dead(beat) horse here.
