Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

hi im 16 years old and live in maryland i am planning on getting emanciapted. The state gives me 1000 dollars a month, i have a place to go to rentfree with my friend and her mom do i am planning on getting a job but that might take a few weeks is the money i get a month okay with the judge or do i have to get a job first? my mom handles the money, afterward does it all go to my name? my mom said if thats what i wanna do then do it, if shes agreeing with it do we gotta go through court or can we just get papers signed and be done with?

Unlike some other states, Maryland does not have a youth emancipation act. There are some limited instances in which a Maryland youth may become emancipated. For example, � 2-301 of the Family Law Article permits the emancipation of a minor by marriage.
