Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I have a 2yr old son and am planning on getting married in about 1yr. I am engaged already.

I live in MD(this is also where my son was born), my ex lives in VA, and my son and I will be moving to DE with my fiancee in 1yr.

My ex is not on listetd on my son's birth certificate and does not have visitation rights. He has never taken me to court to fight for custody. I have sole custody by default. I get child support because when I went on public assistance they forced my ex to pay support. My ex and I were never married.

What do I need to do to ensure I still get Child Support from my ex and can move with my son to DE with my fiancee?

Hire a Maryland family law firm. This is not an issue that you want to get a quick answer over the internet on. It's too important.

Best of luck.
