Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Abandoned by husband 8 years ago

The day after Thanksgiving 1994 my husband left home to get his pay check and has never returned and he has not attempted to contact me or his children. Child support inforcement has located him in Maryland but refuse to give me an address. Can I get a divorce from him without his address?

If you still live in Georgia, check with an attorney there and see if you can get service by publication to at least end the marriage. If service by publication is possible, be sure and have the attorney fully advise you of what the court can and can't do under Georgia law in such a case.
