Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am a American Citizen and was living in Canada for 4 years. I had a daughter in Canada, with my ex husband. Child and Family Services took her away from me when she was born. I never got a chance to parent her. I tried to fight for her when I left her father, and now Child and Family Service want to adopt her, and I had a phone court conference and my lawyer told me not to appeal. I wanted to appeal to go to trial. What can I do now to get my daughter back?

There's obviously some good reasons (that you've left out) why you are in this position. If you don't believe your attorney is representing you as you would like, hire a different one.

Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
