Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

can a attorney sign a divorce proposal on a clients behalf when the client never saw the proposal then spouse attorney write up final paperwork and my attorney saids I have to sign it because he already accepted the proposal? It is a very unfair settlement plus spouse has already applied for a loan to refinance marrital home when I have not signed off original loan or deed to the property.?

This attorney has taken a lot of money from me and has not and will produce statements showing where my money has gone.

It sounds like you need a new attorney. The only way to obtain redress will be to take the old attorney to court. Do you want to take an attorney to court without an attorney on your side?

Best of luck.*******The above is for informational purposes only and does not establish an attorney client relationship.*******
