back support and new judgement

father owes daughter 19,900 in back support then sues the daughter in a different case an is award 3,164 how can the award be subtract from the 19,900 or desolved all together

When the daughter received the suit papers from the father, she should have countersued for the back child support, unless there was already a judgment for the full amount in the court record. She can still file such a suit.
