bench warrent
I missed my court date and would like to reschedule for a non-support hearing. A bench warrent was issued but I have never missed a court since 1996.

If this was a procedure instituted by the Office of Child Support Enforcement, contact them and arrange to appear to have the bench warrant quashed. Then the hearing on the support issues will be rescheduled. Otherwise you could be picked up at any time and temporarily incarcerated.
