I brought a baby home from the hospital without getting any custody papers signed,what do i need to do to keep this baby?

Your question is unclear. Assuming you are the natural parent of the child, you do not need any "custody papers" to care for your own child. If you are not the natural parent, then you would need to petition the court to obtain custody, guardianship or to adopt. Generally speaking the natural parent will have superior rights to their own child unless they either consent to the arrangement or the court terminates their parental rights.
