sined 4 a car 4 me inn 2002 i made all the payments had 6 left so he took my car from my house without telling me and is not going 2 give it back until i give him the hole amount can he do this

If you are the only name on the title, your friend had no right to do this. If you are listed as co-owners, then he has an equal ownership interest. Don't confuse this with him being listed as just being a co-signer. It sounds like you fell behind on payments and he's worried about that affecting his credit record. If you made all the payments on time, since '02, it wouldn't make sense for him to do this.
