If it's a private agreement not part of a court order, you and the other parent must work out the details of the change and then it would be wise to have an attorney experienced in these matters draw it up for you. If it's already part of a court order, you must file a court petition to modify it. If you and the other parent have agreed to the change, it can be a consent petition, and you can go ahead and start honoring it while it goes through the court process.

Call me to discuss why it is in the best interest of the child to change the visitation order that was made by the court.
