changing child's birth certificate

My son is 10 months old, I was in a relationship with a man and he signed the birth certificate now we are not working out i would like to put the biological father's name on there my son has my last name i would just like to at least get the fathers name changed then my son's last name. what do I need to do to obtain the paperwork i will need if my son was born in Maryland and I live in Florida.

YOu can see if Maryland will allow you to amend the birth certificate, but it isn't likely given that your son is now ten months old. If that doesn't work, you'll have to file a petition for name change. You can file the name change petition in Florida.
