Child Abuse

1/12 We see the children for another visit & the children are very upset. We ask why & they told us that they just left his atty's ofc where they were told by the deputy & the CPS worker that the harm that they are getting is their fault because they are provoking him (my ex).

How can they say that the phys., verbal, mental & emotional abuse that my children are getting from my ex & his wife is their fault? The children are 13 and 16, they are 36 & 39? This is the 3rd time that Child Protective services has investagated abuse for the children. THIS IS INSANE?

Is there anything that you can do to help us?

I would say sure, but you will need the cooperation of the children.

You can file for a modification of custody, if the children want to live with you, then the court will more than likely listen to them because of their ages.
