Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
In a Child Custody case, mother has custody, father is trying to get custody and judge says "court holds matters sub curia". The mother lives in another state and judge wants to talk to judge in that state as mother had requested hearing to transfer case and has been denied.

You really didn't ask a question, but if you are confused about the meaning of "sub curia", it means literally "under law", which means the judge is holding a decision in abeyance until he consults with the judge in the mother's state since there appears to be a potential jurisdictional conflict as to which court should decide the matter.
