child custody
i `m the mother of a 13yr old girl,of whom i have full legal custody..her father+stepmother have every other weekend visitation....my daughter is+ telling me they have promised her a new laptop+she can go back to the private school she used to attend+they will give her their current car (porsche)when she turns 16...if she will move in with them in june of this year...my daughter says she`s not sure what she wants,but really would like to go backto her former school+live in her former neighborhood.........what legal rights to i have to make them stop coercing her....a worried mom

Since you have legal custody, you determine where she lives. Her father would have to file a motion to modify custody and establish that a material change in circumstances has occurred since the custody order was entered. If that requirement is satisfied, he would then have to show that a change in custody would be in your daughter's best interest. Given that she is 13, the court is not required to consider her wishes regarding custody. However, once she turns 16, the court is required to consider where she wants to live.
