child custody

i have physical custody of my 11 yr olde son ..we share joint legal custody his father sees him every other weekend and 10 days in the summer ..i have no family here i want to relocate 250 mile away to better my self and my son want to get to know his other side of his family ..if i can arrange for his father to still see him can a move be possiable without losing phyical custody

Yes it is possible as long as the move is justifiable. Given that you have family in the new location, you have a pretty good argument for the move. The counter argument is that your son would see less of his father. His father may try to get custody changed as a result of your plan to move. Ultimately the standard is what is in the child's best interest.
