child suport

i have a 13 year old and her father is 29,323.00 in the rear of child support and si ordered to pay 495.95 a month. i file a prosae case aginst him every year for non payment and each time we go to court he'll atart a new job and a month or so after court he'll quit the job. i've been trying to get help thru the child support agency but all they do is send him letters telling him to make a payment and he'll pay 50.00. in the past 3 years i've received about 500.00 total. can you please tell me what other resources i can use.

The court has the power to find him in contempt for nonpayment and to incarcerate him until he pays off the arrearage, but as a practical matter his being locked up, while it might give you some satisfaction, isn't likely to put more support money in your hands. If you income-qualify for pro bono legal assistance, contact the bar association in your county and ask them to set you up with a pro bono (free) attorney who might be able to help you with this.
