Child Support Concerns

im currently living in philadelphia and my daughter and her mother live in Maryland. She is planning to marry this year, and thinking of the minors best interest, imconsidering asking the sstep-father to adopt the minor. if i sign over legal rights to the minor, am i still financially obligated to pay child support?

If you relinquish your parental rights, you will no longer be obligated to pay support to the child.
