Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Child Support

My daughter is now 17, and does no longer attend high school, I've sent her to counceling etc to try and keep her in, she will not go to school, do I have to continue to pay child support or can I have it stopped?

Re: Child Support

Yes, you have to continue to pay child support until she reaches 18.

If she has not graduated and is attending school, then child support is payable until she graduates or reaches 19, whichever occurs sooner.
