child support
my daughter is now 18 and wants me to pay her car payments. her mother says if i dont she will get me for back child support, can she do this??

Child support arrearages are debts which don't just fade away when the children turn eighteen.
You can definitely be held liable for the back child support. If your daughter's mother hasn't pursued that money before now, she has been pretty easy on you. But I wouldn't recommend that you pay the car payments. I would suggest that you make the payments to your daughter's mother, and label them "child support." And make sure you have cancelled checks or some kind of receipts.
