If a father gives up his rights does he have to pay child support and what are the steps to giving them up?

A parent can give up his or her rights as a parent if some other individual requests those rights: That may be a hman person or a state agency. If that is accomplished and there is no retroactive child support due, the parent need not pay additional support. However, a parent cannot give up support whenever he or she chooses.
