child support

iwas not served with papersbut with going online I learned I have a hearing. Not at a courthouse. Will a warrant be issued if i dont appear

You didn't provide sufficient information, but if the hearing is because you are in arrears on child support, and the hearing is not at a courthouse, it's probably for a meeting at the Office of Child Support Enforcement. Although you say you didn't receive papers, if their records show otherwise, and you don't appear, they will refer it to the court to issue you a show cause order for contempt, which could lead to your arrest. So your smart move is to contact them to find out what it's about, and then to appear to try and get things cleared up.
