Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

child support

We have joint custody with Mom having physical. I just filed to have my support reviewed after9 years and she is making a significant amount more than when we had original amount set. She has been making alot more for quite a few years. Can she be ''sued'' or made to pay any back since she did not report a change in income?

Re: child support

Absent an agreement or a court order requiring her to do so, your ex had no obligation to divulge her income changes to you. You can file a petition to modify the amount of your payment, but at best the amount will change only from the date you file such a petition. And changes in both parents' income will be taken into account.
