Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Child Support Judgment owed

My question is that the ncp was found in contempt and a judgment places on her. After that, my wife adopted child but NCP has not paid off judgment. Owes about $5000. What do I need to file in court to enforce this judgement? Thank you for all your help.

Re: Child Support Judgment owed

You need to file a court attachment against her wages or any assets, such as a bank account. If she is unemployed or you don't know where she works or banks, you can get a court order requiring her to come to court and give you that information. If the amount of the judgment is large enough, you should hire an experienced attorney who knows how to prepare the necessary papers.
