child support
my kids dad is currently paying court ordered child support through the state of md, however he is still $4,500 in the rears. I wanted to know if I can sue him for the balance and still receive monthly child support payments.

You should make your request for the enforcemnt of arrearages through Virginia's DCSE which should forward it to Maryland's agency for appropriate action to collect some arreages as well as the current child support due.
