Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Child Support

I have order against mother of my child for $427.05 for support and $22.95 for arrears until paid. To date mother has never paid support. Order was passed on Sept 10th dtating back to June11th. Order was done through local BOSE(DSS) but I am not or was never on assistance. she owes over 2 thousand dollars now and I would like to know what steps DSS takes towards enforecement usually, will she get a letter from MVA soon? etc? Can I file for conntempt on my own even though I'm getting money through BOSE? Thanks

Re: Child Support

Contact OCSE for information as they are pursuing your case.

It would be imprudent for a private attorney to get involved unless retained.

OCSE represents the State of Maryland and not you nor your child.

These are the things to consider when handing your matter over to OCSE instead of

acquiring private representation.
