Child support

If you have paid several years of child support to a woman for a child, who after years of lies from her mother, turns out not to be yours....are you entitled to sue for repayment?

Re: Child support

You didn't indicate whether you paid voluntarily or pursuant to a court order. If it was voluntary, you could have challenged the paternity in court and a dna test would have conclusively determined if you were the father. While you could still do that, it wouldn't entitle you to retroactive reimbursement, only to a cessation of ongoing payments. If this was as a result of a court order, presumably you didn't contest it, because a judge would have ordered a test which would have exonerated you.
