child support

me and my wife got divorced yesterday i'm on ssi i don't get anything for my 3 kids age 9,13,14 they live with her do i have to pay support i get 530.00 a mount

Re: child support

The Judge would usually make the decision of the amount of child support at the time he grants the divorce. Read the divorce decree, it should tell you about child support.

Re: child support

If your only income is from SSI, you do not have to pay any child support. Supplemental Security Income is a means-tested public assistance program, and any SSI payments you receive, along with any food stamps, medical or housing assistance, or other means-tesated public assistance, is not considered income for the calculation of child support.
