Re: child-custody/care issues and dispute
If your mother is receiving public assistance for the care of your daughter, the government will seek reimbursement from the parents. Your mother must cooperate in this as a condition of getting the public assistance. Every parent has an obligation to support his/her child in every state. You should try to work out an arrangement with New Jersey that is within your budget. Of course, you can always seek to regain custody of your daughter once you are in a financial position to do so.
