Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Children over the age of 18 getting kicked out of their house

Are there any laws that protect teenagers from getting kicked out at 18?

Can a child sue his/her parents after being kicked out?

The child is not disabled and has a high school diploma.

Re: Children over the age of 18 getting kicked out of their house

Te 18 year old you describe does not have a right to live in his parents' home if they tell him to leave. While it is a pretty sad situation when parents and their children are on such bad terms, for whatever reason, that the parents want the child out, the "child" is legally no longer a child, and he is responsible for himself. In some circumstances there might be grounds for the young adult to sue his parents, but not simply because he is evicted from his parents' home.
