Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My children and a paternal grandmother who hates me and tearing my family apart. They were taken by cfsa because of domestic violence in the home but when they found out I had no family support my abusive ex-husband mother stepped in has my children and teaching them Im a bad mother and her and her son are the best for them. My children dont know about family bonds or truth. 6 years I've fought but not successfull. My family harmed my children but I was at fault even though I had no idea my family would do such things. Please help. I just want my babies back.

If you think you can establish in a court proceeding that you can offer a better and more stable environment for the children than your ex, you can file a petition to change custody. You can also ask for visitation in case you don't succeed on the custody part. You need an expeienced family attorney to help you, and if you can't afford one contact the bar association in your county and see if you are eligible for the pro bono program, or for a reduced fee attorney.
