how old do i have to be to choose where i want to live?
i want to live with my father but my mother is the one who had custady of me, and she dosent let me go more then every other weekend. how old do i have to be to choose where i want to live?

Generally, 16. But if your father files a petition to modify custody and you can persuade the judge that you would be better off in your dad's custody, you might get him or her to go along with it even if you're not quite 16.
