Is there a time limit where a judge can modify a court order, without reconvening court?

It depends on the issue requiring modification. Following a divorce, the court can make rulings regarding marital property for up to 90 days or longer under certain circumstances. When it comes to adjusting the amount of alimony or child support, the court can do this at any time upon the filing of a petition by one of the parties, if circumstances for doing so warrant.
