If the child's mother is violating a visitation order, you can go back to court with a petition asking the court to hold her in contempt of court. The court will issue a show cause order, setting a hearing at which she will have to explain herself to the court. Often the mere filing of the petition will bring the custodial parent into compliance, unless he or she has a good reason for not living up to visitation obligations.
