Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Consent for 17 year old to live elsewhere

I have legal guardianship of my niece. She is 17 and will be 18 in 6 months. I live in Maryland and she wants to live in North Carolina with a family friend. How can I give her legal consent to live there ?

Until she's 18, you would have to see that the NC friend is willing to accept transfer of the guardianship.
