Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I have court date on the 18th of this month, my husband filed for a limited divorce stating I mentally abused him nd tht we agreed to separtate. When I answered the alligation to the courts I stated tht we have had a sexual relationship since he walked out, He has also bought me a new car. I did not want him to leave. ( he told me to lie about thesex) My question is he has now cut off all funds that I have been recieving for 8 years, his retirement pay that was always direct deposited into my account. This money ws used to pay my credit cards and buy food n bsically to run the home. I have not worked in 5 years we had to relocted for his job and he travels 2 to 3 weeks out of the month. I had to stay home with my children since he traveled so much. He is a government employee and makes good money. What should I do to have to judge look at my case on the 18th in reference to the money situation? I know they like to have all information before addressing an issue and we need money now. Do I have to file something or should I just present bills and tax returns?
Thank you for your time.

More information is needed. What is purpose of the court date on the 18th? In your answer, did you request support? You need an attorney to represent you in this matter. This is especially true if your husband has an attorney. Check with the Maryland Bar Association for referral services for low cost attorneys. There are also pro bono (free) family law associations that the bar may refer you. You may qualify under the pro bono family law services if you have no income and you rely on your husband.
