You can object to the adoption and use that proceeding as a means of regaining custody of your child, assuming you can demonstrate your renewed fitness to take care of your son. The court generally favors a biological parent over an adoptive one, but the court must also consider what is in the best interest of the child. You should get as many people as possible, especially professionals, who can support your fitness.
