Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

custody case that seperates 3 children

I need to change my case from MD to MA fo an appeal. The problem is my ex-husband's family has alot of money and influence in the state of MD. It was supposed to be a 2 Day case but my ex-husband got 2 Days and I got less than a day. the judge said he would have an answer on March 5th I finally got it today. I have the court order inb my possessionand it pretty much says the decision was made for him to get sole custody because I was pregnant. even though he is an alcoholic and a drug user. The Judge also stated in the order that he did have concerns reguarding the father having custody but gave it to him anyways there is alot more that goes into this if anyone can help me please email me. Thank You

1. Are you saying that you went to trial?

2 Is it a temporary order;

3. If is a trial in MD, then your only resort is to discuss your appellate rights with an MD attorney;

4. If I am missing something, let me know.
