"Definition of -no visitation"

"In a case of child custody under Maryland family law,what does the term NO VISITATION mean and encompase. Does it include no telephone contact with the child, with the child calling and talking to his parent or vise-versa".

Re:

"no visitation" is generally understood to mean no direct contact with the child. It would not preclude telephone contact or contact through some other medium. If a judge intended there to be no contact of any kind, he/she would have been more explicit.
