Divorce agreement not being met
In my divorce agreement my x is suypposed to have a insurance policyt with me as the beneficiary , for my children. He no longer has one, is that legal? and should I contact a lawyer? I have been divorced for 9 years.

It would be a breach of the agreement if he didn't maintain the policy, unless the agreement provided that he only had to maintain it until the children were no longer entitled to child support because they turned 18 or graduated high school. If he's supposed to maintain it, you will need to file a contempt petition in court. The judge can order him to put a policy in place and provide proof of it to you. You should definitely get a lawyer to help you with this.

He is in contempt of the court order. You should contact an attorney to review the order and file a petition for contempt if appropriate.
