Can a divorce case be reopen after 12 years?

A divorce case cannot be reopened after twelve years, except for issues of child custody, visitation and child support, and in some cases alimony (only if the divorce decree specifically retains jurisdiction regarding alimony). Also, the case could be revisited if one party is alleged to be in contempt of the court by failing to obey the terms of the court's order.
